End-to-End Encryption
Your journal entries, imagery sessions, and performance data are scrambled using industry-standard encryption (AES-256-GCM) before being stored anywhere. Only you can unscramble your data. Your unique encryption key is managed automatically and stored securely on your device, with a secure backup linked to your account so it can be recovered if needed.
Data Storage
Your data is stored directly on your device for instant, offline access. It is also securely backed up to the cloud in encrypted form, so your progress is available if you switch devices or reinstall the app. Only encrypted data is ever sent to the cloud; it is unreadable without your personal encryption key.
Authentication
Your account is protected with email and password sign-in. All data held in the cloud is access-controlled. Only you can read or write your own data, even at the server level.
Sign-Out & Data Isolation
When you sign out, all locally stored data, including journal entries, imagery sessions, and settings, is cleared from the device. Your encrypted data remains safely in your account and is restored when you sign back in.
Third Parties
Neart does not share your data with any third parties. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising. Cloud storage is used solely to keep your data safe and accessible across your devices. Supabase acts as our data processor for the encrypted backup; they can never read your data because they do not hold your key.
Your Rights
You can delete all your data at any time from Profile → Delete My Data in the app. This permanently removes all your data from both your device and the cloud, and closes your account. You can also update your email or password at any time from Profile → Athlete. Under UK GDPR you have additional rights of access, rectification and erasure — contact us below to exercise them.
This Website
This marketing site (neartapp.com) is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and loads no third-party trackers. If you submit the waitlist form, your email is sent to Formspree (our form processor) for the sole purpose of emailing you once when the app launches.
